MOCHI: THE LONGEST TUESDAY

THIRD PERSON ADVENTURE

You are a cat in a mechsuit! Shoot, jump, and avoid enemies to find your beloved box on an alien planet.

As the cat of a scientist in space, he rewards you with a brand new mech suit for you to use! ​Unfortunately the mech suit got completely ignored in favor of sitting in the box that contained the suit...

Suddenly, the ship gets struck by a meteorite, causing the box to get lost on an alien planet!

Knowing where our priorities truly are, we immediately embark on an adventure to find our beloved box on the strange planet!

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The team:

  • 3 Level Designers

  • 4 Game Artists

  • 3 Animators

  • 5 Game Programmers

  • 3 Technical Artist

Production time:

  • 14 weeks half-speed = Around 280 hours.

  • 1 week full-speed = Around 40 hours.

Engine:

  • Clockwork Engine as Level Editor and Engine (Proprietary Group Engine)

My Contribution:

  • Designing the first level

  • Script and Implement moving platforms inside of Clockwork Engines visual scripting

  • Level Propping / Level Art with budget restrictions ahead of Clockwork Engine

  • Part of Gameplay, LD/Metrics, Visual Scripting and Pipeline Taskforce
