Technical Level Designer - Overview
For this project I am currently freelancing under an associate title as the sole Technical Level Designer on the Climax team of the unannounced AAA title in Unreal Engine 5.

Responsibilities
As the only Technical Level Designer for the Climax team, my responsibilities include:

Setting up and upholding Blueprint scripting best practices, through the node-based scripting language alongside proprietary tools.

Collaborating closely with Programmers to plan a clean pipeline while also delivering systems for prototyping and tools.

Collaborating closely with Designers to fine-tune the gameplay flow and pacing.

Implementing aunique features and interactions while taking them from Vision to a AAA Game Ready state, and designing areas around them.

Optimizing the performance through streaming.

Taking ownership and responsibility of technical level design features, while setting up and maintaining the documentation.

Regularly report directly to directors to ensure the work is following the games intended vision.
